Producedfrom 1968 through 1976 for the North American market, the Ford Gran Torino was considered an upscale version of the intermediate Ford Fairlane produced from 1962 through 1970. After the 1968 model year, the Fairlane moniker was given to all base model cars while the Torino name was saved for models with higher trim packages.
Theinterior of the Gran Torino Sport had more distinction from other models. The instrument package became a standard feature, but bucket seats remained an option. Bucket seats were revised to a low back design with separate head rests. 1972 Ford Gran Torino Brougham 2-door Formal Roof Hardtop [4].jpg (204.6 KB, 0 views) JjKgxJa.
