2012 X5 E70 N55 Check Engine Light with Reduced Power. I have 2012 BMW X5 E70 N55 engine with around 140K miles. Last week I was getting home after a 35 miles drive I got the check engine light and reduce power. The car still starts and runs, I didn't try to drive it in this mode. Checked all the fuses, all good.
DJtoad. 623 posts · Joined 2009. #2 · Jul 12, 2015. I think it's a 30A, not a 50A fuse, and it's fuse F02 in fuse carrier A8680. That's the fuse carrier in the E-Box that has five fuses in it (F01 through F05 -- four 30A fuses and one 20A fuse). Unplug the carrier and then slide off the top to get access to the fuses.

I've checked for continuity on the white-blue wire between FP Relay and DME. I also got 12V on pin 8 and 6, FP Relay.

pshovest. 2695 posts · Joined 2009. #10 · Oct 14, 2020. BMW's will not start with immobilizer faults. These codes don't seem to be the usual DME/CAS or DME/EWS out-of-sync codes. They may point to a hardware or wiring issue. I would install ISTA on a laptop, buy a K+DCan cable, scan for codes and run the test plan.

I have a 11 Bmw x5 5.0. I was messing around with led light in my glove box and after closing my glove box it wont open. I took it to a dealer they opened it temporarly for me but they are telling me they need to change knetic parts and will cost around $970 dollars. While the glove box was temporary opened i removed the led light.
